Race fans will have the exclusive opportunity to take a high-speed lap around the legendary Infineon Raceway road course at the Classic Sports Racing Group's 6th annual Charity Challenge this weekend, Sept. 26-27.

For a $75-$100 donation, race fans can take a thrilling, three-lap ride at speeds approaching 120 mph with one of the competitors in an historic Can-Am sports racer or other historic racecar. The best part is that all proceeds benefit Sonoma County youth groups through the Sonoma Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities. Over the last five years, CSRG has generated more than $400,000 for SCC.

The Charity Ride-Arounds will begin at 11:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday and are on a first-come basis, so plan to arrive at the Infineon Technologies Business Center early. All passengers must wear close-toed shoes, long pants, long-sleeve shirts and a helmet, which can be provided. You must be 16 years or older to participate in the ride-around.
