Race fans have a new and exciting way to support Sonoma County youth organizations, and it's as simple as going to the grocery store.

The Sonoma Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities has partnered with Save Mart Supermarkets to become a member of the grocery chain's Supporting Humanities, Arts, Recreation, Education & Sports (S.H.A.R.E.S.) program.

This fundraising program invites supporters to carry a FREE S.H.A.R.E.S. card. When the card is swiped at any participating Lucky, Save Mart or FoodMax store during checkout, three-percent of the applicable total will be donated to the Sonoma chapter of Speedway Children's Charities.

"This is an exciting opportunity to help support Speedway Children's Charities and the youth of Sonoma County - all at no cost. It's truly a win-win situation," said Denise Silver, community events coordinator at Infineon Raceway.

Speedway Children's Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway, has distributed more than $3 million to Sonoma County youth groups since 2002.

To get your FREE card and begin supporting the Sonoma chapter of Speedway Children's Charities, contact Denise Silver at (707) 933-3950 or dsilver@infineonraceway.com.
