The Infineon Raceway chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities, operates as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and has distributed more than $3.7 million to over 175 Sonoma County youth groups since 2001.

The Sonoma Chapter will host 11 events during the 2011 season including the Tour de Charity Karting Day, the Children’s Champions Grand Marshall’s Banquet, the AutoTrader.com Eric Medlen Nitro Night dinner, and the IndyCar Charity Auction where fans can bid on a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to take a pace lap with their favorite IndyCar Series driver.

Organizations in Sonoma County are eligible for Speedway Children’s Charities annual grants. The 2011 application is available on the grants tab.
